Sam Waks Chief Executive Officer

Since earning his sound engineering diploma from SAE Sydney in 2005 Sam Waks has explored vast swathes of the audio industry. Whether tour managing a rock band or organizing a multi-disciplinary arts festival, composing music for a contemporary Cuban dance company or recording Indian street musicians on a windy rooftop, he always brings the same dedication and acute problem solving skills to bear. He moved his studio and main base to La Briche in 2009 and has managed the site ever since, overseeing its gradual transformation from a forgotten industrial ruin into the creative hub it is today. As well as being a professionally trained drummer and percussionist Sam has composed and performed electronic music under a variety of pseudonyms for over a decade.

Hery Randrianarison Chief Sound Engineer

Graduating from the CFPTS (Paris), Hery Randrianarison has been in the audio industry since 2011. Starting as a touring technician for music festivals (Montreux Jazz Festival, Paleo, Mawazine), he then worked for a variety of media (theatre, radio broadcast, dance, conferences) as a live/studio recordist and mixing engineer, before dedicating himself to La Briche in 2017. Hery (pronounced air) is also a gifted and versatile musical arranger/composer and professional trombonist, having graduated from the Conservatoire de Boulogne-Billancourt (classical music theory/orchestral arrangement). His skills as a multi-instrumentalist(keyboards, bass, erhu..) give him a unique perspective as an engineer and composer, making him one of the central creative forces of La Briche Audio.

Avery Von Ringle Chief Artist

Raised in Washington DC, Paris and New York, this talented multi-format artist joins La Briche Audio as our chief visual tastemaker. After graduating from Parsons in Manhattan, she moved to Brooklyn to transform a Bushwick warehouse into an art gallery, studio space, and music venue. She traded the city streets for the rural French countryside in 2016, and in addition to her own art practice, is a crucial element in the physical and philosophical development at La Briche. Responsible for the idiosyncratic interior décor of the space, she also has a hand in the graphic design and overall presentation of the site. Apart from maintaining La Briche's unique aesthetic and style, she also oversees all non-musical residencies and projects.
